Take a Walk on the Wildside
Urimbirra Wildlife Kids Club
Age range 5 – 15 years.
Saturdays 8.30am – 11.30am (3hours)
Cost $40 plus once of purchase of special Urimbirra Tshirt $25.
Max 10 participants
An insight into learning about our unique animals and the level of care involved in keeping these animals in good health. You will perform special duties helping to care for our Animals, and get a real feel for being a Wildlife Keeper! You will also make and learn about enrichment to stimulate natural behaviours and will see for yourself the amazing skills our animals have developed to live in their environment. This program came about due to popular demand from the Kids who did our School holiday Program and wanted to keep coming during the school term! It is a shortened version of our Junior Wildlife Keeper program – with the kids developing a deeper rapport and understanding with our animals.
Urimbirra Junior Wildlife Keeper
Age range 10 – 17 years
School holiday Program. 8.30am – 11.30am. (3hours)

Urimbirra Wildlife Heroes
Age range 5 – 12 years
Mondays 8.30am – 11.30am

This program was developed for Home Schooled Primary School students. An insight into learning about our unique animals and the level of care involved in keeping these animals in good health. You will perform special duties helping to care for our Animals, and get a real feel for being a Wildlife Keeper! You will also make and learn about enrichment to stimulate natural behaviours and will see for yourself the amazing skills our animals have developed to live in their environment. An ongoing, self paced, project is completed, with the students giving a presentation at end of term – if they feel confident in doing so. This program is all about developing curious minds and giving confidence in a nonjudgemnetal environment, with supportive peers. There is a maximum of 10 students ensuring a positive learning enviroment with lots of social interaction.
Urimbirra Wildlife Youth
Age range 12 – 16 years
Fridays 8.30am – 11.30am Max 10 participants
Cost $40, plus once of purchase of special Urimbirra Tshirt $25
This program was developed for Home Schooled High School students. An insight into learning about our unique animals and the level of care involved in keeping these animals in good health. You will perform special duties helping to care for our Animals, and get a real feel for being a Wildlife Keeper! You will also make and learn about enrichment to stimulate natural behaviours and will see for yourself the amazing skills our animals have developed to live in their environment. An ongoing, self paced, project is completed, with the students giving a presentation at end of term – if they feel confident in doing so. They will also start developing their own Wildlife Experience Evidence Portfolio – a very handy document if they plan on basing a career around Wildlife.
This program is all about developing curious minds and giving confidence in a nonjudgemnetal environment, with supportive peers. There is a maximum of 10 students ensuring a positive learning environment.
Urimbirra Wildlife Babies
Age range (5 years and under)
Wednesdays 10am- 11.30
Cost $45 Price includes Entry fees (Adult and up to 3 children under 4years), coffee and cake
Extra children 4 – 5 years are $5
Accompanying Adults $35

A morning group aiming to enjoy and interact with like-minded parents to deveolp and expose their young children (0-5 years) to nature and our environment, Starting with a coffee, and Story Time – where we explore some of our great Australian authors, and finishing with a guided walk around Urimbirra – meeting and feeding our very friendly inhabitants. Great physical exercise – and letting the great outdoor seep into our skin!
Urimbirra Inclusive Heroes
Age Range All Ages
Tuesdays at 9am – 11.00am
Cost $70 per participant (accompanying Adult $15)
We value diversity and inclusivity, recognising that everyone has something unique to contribute. By creating an open and welcoming environment, these sessions encourage all to join in and make a positive impact on the wellbeing of our animals and their natural environment. It is similar to our other sessions, but allows a little more time and support. Great for families to do a fun activity together – and a good option for children who would like some more parental involvement before coming to our regular programs (where its a drop and leave situation) Extra adults welcome ($15) Companion card applies. Minimum 2 participants – max 3 participants.
Urimbirra Wildlife Keeper Experience
Over 16 years
Thursdays and Sundays 8.30 – 11.30 (3hours)
Cost $100, plus once of purchase of special Urimbirra Tshirt $27
Price includes Entry and morning tea
Great for Team Building, Celebrations, Gifts or just spoiling yourself and getting back in touch with our natural environment. Perfect for your mental health! Each participant will learn about our unique animals and the level of care involved in keeping these animals in good health, as well as learning about their natural history and role in conservation – while having a lot of fun! You will find a connection with our special ambassador animals, and form wonderful memories. For those who already have a passion for animals, it will give them a terrific insight into a Wildlife Keepers world. Finish the morning by planting a special tree – to give our future wildlife somewhere to shelter, build nests – or a valuable food source. Morning Tea is included and you are welcome to stay longer and relax into the afternoon!

Urimbirra Wildlife Park is introducing a new education program! Aiming to instill a sense of fun and adventure, while connecting the children to nature.
We have created a Treasure Hunt and Activity Trail, a set of challenges; searching and discovering, comparing and contrasting our abilities with different species of animals. Meet our animals – close up and personal and foster a sense of appreciation of their own unique skills. Be active in the great outdoors! Hands on Science, Art, Mathematics and Physical Education brought to life in a beautiful Australian bush setting!
